At Mitie, I served in progressively senior HR roles over three years, culminating in my position as Head of HR. In this capacity, I led the People function supporting over 35,000 employees across four diverse business divisions: Clean Environments, Security, Integrated Facilities, and Engineering. I was responsible for developing and executing the overarching People Plan in alignment with strategic business goals, partnering closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership to deliver commercially focused, outcome-driven HR solutions.
Prior to this, as Lead HR Business Partner, I led a UK-wide team of six regional HR Business Partners, delivering comprehensive HR services across three divisions and managing the people agenda for 20,000 employees across London and the South. I provided strategic leadership, workforce planning, and guidance on complex employee relations issues, organisational change, and performance management.
Earlier, as Regional HR Manager, I oversaw HR operations for 5,000 employees within Mitie’s Transport and Manufacturing sectors, where I was instrumental in supporting restructuring, talent development, and the implementation of consistent HR practices.
